Toddler
Toddlers are inquisitive by nature
Curious, mobile, and eager — toddlers are primed for growth. Our Toddler Program is designed to support those big developmental leaps in language, motor skills, social connection, and cognitive development.
What We Focus On
- Language and early literacy
- Early math and science concepts
- Large and small muscle skills
- Social and emotional development
Practical Life
Daily life activities: Caring for oneself, others, and the environment, build independence, coordination, concentration, and social grace.
Sensorial
Sensorial activities develop and refine the senses: sight, touch, taste, smell, and sound. These skills form the foundation for language and mathematics, and help children classify and make sense of their world.
Each curriculum element provides specific learning objectives and targeted skills.
Equally important, at Kornerstone, parents are our full partners. Together, our goals are to inspire your child; to make sure each moment of childhood is one of wonder, joy, and learning; and to ensure milestones today pave the way for a lifelong love of learning.
Daily Routine Overview
The toddler routine outlines the typical daily flow for children aged two to three years in the Kornerstone toddler community. The toddler's daily routine provides a consistent pattern of activities for learning time, meals, rest, and outdoor play. The predictability of the routine helps children to feel secure and positively influences their emotional, cognitive, and social development.
